Pheasant Feeding
23 December 2013
Back garden
Goldfinch, blue tit, greenfinch, great tit, robin, blackbird and house sparrows at the bird feeders. Sunflower hearts are far more popular than fatballs.
The pheasant feeds for a while beneath the feeders, looks up quizzically, then takes a leisurely stroll down the lefthand side of the pond, across the veg beds, back up the main path passing the shed then crossing the lawn to return to the feeders. By now there is more spilt seed to glean.
