Back garden

10 a.m. It's worth coming out just to hear the silence. A contrast to the wild windy weather that we've been having. We're enjoying a calm clear interval between two huge 'dartboards' of low pressure being propelled across the Atlantic by a 280 m.p.h. jet stream at the top of the atmosphere.
