Shetland Pony

Another occasional visitor to our feeders; a starling on the fatballs. A pair of them are back on the gable end of the house across the road again this morning.
Who's nest? A pair of magpies check out a nest in an alder by McDonald's in Birstall. Later a pair of crows appear.
We saw these Shetland ponies was at Castleton last week; small stocky ponies that look as if they have been designed to survive the next ice age.
