Silver Birch
15 January 2014
Addingford, Horbury
This multi-trunked birch stands at what until the early 1970s was a mineral railway siding where coal from Hartley Bank colliery was brought for unloading by road and rail.
On the canal; two moorhens, one kingfisher, an adult (female?) mute swan and cygnet. On the Strands pond two more cygnets.
