Gold-tipped Moss
19 January 2014
Garden
A gold-tipped feathery moss, edge of concrete paving slab, front lawn.
Breakfast Feed
A cock pheasant strolls up the garden path by the greenhouse while a wood pigeon drinks from the pond. A male bullfinch (no sign of the female) joins the regular goldfinches, greenfinches and siskins at the feeders.
At sunset a group of long-tailed tits make a late call; they prefer the fat balls and fat block to the sunflower hearts.
