Apollo 17 Landing Site
There's a waxing moon high above the wood this evening. The terminator - the line between dark and light - is at around 32 degrees east of lunar longtitude, passing close by the area that the Apollo 17 astronauts explored using the lunar rover.
Nearby, Mount Argaeus at the end of a ridge rises 8000 feet above Mare Serinitatus, the Sea of Serenity.
