To put the record straight, here is the true, if rather boring story of Godfrey. Neither he nor Terence want their reputations sullying by your salacious reporting on your website. (And there is no truth in the rumour that they have been led astray by Roderick the ruddy duck!!)

Usually when I'm drawing wildfowl I don't think of the duck asking 'what is my motivation in this scene?' It's a change to be thinking about telling a story.
In my first version of Godfrey underwater he looks a little too smug so in the second I made him more absorbed in diving, unaware of the adventures fate has in store for him.
