Being in this room, on the first floor in Walton Hall, brings back memories: Barbara and I had our wedding reception here 20 years ago. A number of years before that I was born here: the place was then an annexe of Manygates maternity hospital in Wakefield. At that time stud walls divided it into smaller spaces.
