When we had our wedding here you looked out of the window and saw sheep grazing on this slope. Today they've been replaced by golfers. I'd love to have seen the place become a parkland nature reserve again, as it was in Waterton's time, but at least in landscaping the golf course hundreds of trees have been planted. Waterton would have appreciated that.
