We put out the ground feeder to encourage the pheasant but there's been so much bird activity during the holiday that it's now empty and the pheasant flies up to the shepherd's crook bird feeder to try his luck there. It's not designed for pheasants.

Luckily the animal feeds store is open again after the break so we stock up a couple of kilograms of wild bird seed.
