AT TODAY’S family gathering I get a chance to learn the basics of manga drawing from my great niece, in exchange for giving her some tips on drawing the real life characters around us.
It is Christmas, so after an Advent spent drawing in black and white, I thought it was time to burst into colour today.
I used a Rotring ArtPen with an EF sketching nib filled with Noodler’s Bulletproof Black which soon dries (and also reacts with the cellulose in the paper) so that I can add watercolour.
