Lupset tree MAY IS MY FAVOURITE MONTH for going out drawing but it's also the month when projects seem to loom out of the mists and stop me getting out as much as I'd like and, of course, it's a vital month in getting our vegetable garden going.

A short spell of waiting at Pinderfields hospital and at the doctor's in Lupset, Wakefield (right) gave me a rare chance to draw.
