Nibbled WillowWild West Yorkshire nature diary, Friday 30th April 1999THE RABBIT ripples the surface as it leans out over the water to reach the leaves. It has nibbled a fringe on the branches of the little willow that overhangs the garden pond. Today it is the Robins that are courtship feeding. The male watches anxiously as the female flies to the nest, then he flies over, hovering awkwardly before landing on the trellis by the nest.
