First Celandine
Wild West Yorkshire nature diary, Monday 29th March 1999
THE FIRST CELANDINES, are in flower on a steep south-facing bank of what was once a mill race. The mill is now demolished, an Italian restaurant stands on the site. We always head for the conservatory, so we can bird watch over our Arabiata.
A pair of Pied Wagtails investigate the silty island that has reappeared in the river shallows.
