A SONG THRUSH uses a stone at the edge of the raised bed as an anvil to break open the shell of a Brown-lipped Snail. It then drags the snail across the stone, in the process wiping off most of the slime.
House Sparrows dust-bathe on the newly dug soil of the raised bed.
The yellow bill of a Robin chick is visible in the teapot nest, peeping out from under the adult.
