BLACKBIRDS feed on the Golden Hornet crab apples, which are more conspicuous now the leaves have fallen.
The Grey Squirrel seems to have become addicted to the fat balls we hang out for the birds. As usual it has hauled it up onto the bird table and is nibbling through the plastic mesh bag.
I tie up the bag in a more inaccessible place next to the seed feeder and soon a Great Tit is feeding on it.
