THE TWO Welsh Ponies in the snow-covered meadow are browsing their piles of hay. As I sketch them they change places, probably considering that, just as 'the grass is always greener . . .', the other pony's pile of hay might jsut be that bit tastier .
The girls who serve them the hay toboggan down the meadow.
The roof of Netherton Hall on the hill beyond remains covered by snow.
