SOME OF the best cloudscapes build up towards the end of the afternoon. At that time it's not only the shapes of the cloud that are changing, it's the colour as well, as the sun drops in the sky.
Although I'm not going to catch its complexity in a ten minute watercolour sketch, it does give me some much-needed practice and adds a little - a very little - to my understanding of cloud formations.
I always tell my self that any sketch is better than none!
