The shortest day approaches and, by the time I've done my day's work, the light has gone so I can't wander outside to find something to draw. I decide that the art bag, sitting on the desk right there next to the computer, is as good a subject as any. You can probably tell that I'd like to head for the hills again because the bag, to my eyes anyway, looks like some craggy ridge with a dip slope tilting gently down to the right.
