This
morning, as I wait for my insoles (which I wear because I've got one leg
slightly longer than the other) to be resurfaced at the podiatrist there's
time to draw this house plant which I guess is Fatsia japonica,
the Fig-Leaf Palm also known as the Japanese
Aralia.
The
chicken fried rice with extra mixed veg and prawn crackers at the Mandarin
this evening doesn't take quite as long as the insoles: these leaves are
all I have time to draw. But it was still worth making a start. It's a
bit of drawing practice that I wouldn't otherwise have had.
