A pair of wood pigeons flap along by the leylandi, three or four starlings zuzz over the rooftops heading for the wide grassy spaces of the recreation ground.

The cowl on the chimney pot reminds me of the fez-wearing Wilson and Kepple, who, accompanied by exotically alluring Betty, formed a sand-dancing trio in the days of variety. Next Page
