Below the feeders a male blackbird collects beakfuls of sunflower hearts spilt by the finches. A house sparrow chirps enthusiastically from the apex of the shed roof. After a week that started off feeling like autumn, today
is more like a summer's day. We fit in errands like me getting a haircut
and delivering books in town (hence the sketches in the Café Revive).
