NEW TRAINERS provide a subject for me as I wait for a haircut. This time I use a Rotring ArtPen with a larger nib, the ‘M’, as they call it.

As yesterday, I’ve blotted the black ArtPen ink with my Pentel Aquash waterbrush to get that quick pen and wash effect.

I like the graphic, cartoon-like effect of this larger nib. It wouldn’t suit more intricate subjects.
