Shelf Life

Richard Bell’s Wild West Yorkshire nature diary,  Wednesday,  5th August 2009

I’M DRAWING a lot of pages on location for my latest illustration project but as for drawing just for fun, my sketchbook has been lacking recently. A spell in a hospital waiting room gives me a chance to draw those staples of waiting rooms - a shelf of files, a potted plant (a peace lily) and a calendar on a pinboard.

From my point of view, I’m rather glad that offices aren’t entirely paperless these days.
