A BLACKBIRD feeds on the the Cotoneaster berries on the plant trained up the front of our house.
In the shrubbery of a Victorian house at least ten birds have been attracted to the berries of a large Holly. They're mainly blackbirds, but there's also at least one Mistle Thrush. It's a size larger than the blackbirds, has irregular spots on its breast and is greyer than the smaller Song Thrush. In flight it has a conspicuous white underwing.
