It's great to be printing again. Dales Way Diary is going
through my printer without a hitch so, in between folding, stapling
and feeding the machine with paper, I'm able to catch up with a
few of last week's diary entries. |

 Starlings
spend much of the day pecking at the 'Sunflower Treat' block of fat in
a hanging feeder.
This morning, as sparrows and starlings were feeding, a sparrowhawk
made a sudden appearance, swooping low over the hedge, switchbacking to
the other side and, a few moments later, emerging down by our shed. It
didn't make a kill.
