The End of the Hedge

Wednesday, 28th September 2005

hedgemugsI'm not sure how long ago it is but it seems a long time since I added any colour to a sketch. So here we are, two Ikea mugs at my mum-in-laws. I like colour but I always seem so in need of simple, straightforward drawing when I have the rare chance to draw these days, so I end up using my pen.

There's still a lot of green in the wood, though it's not a zingy 'peak-of-freshness' green. This hawthorn hedge retains its leaves, others, which we've passed on our walks have plenty of crimson berries on them. Next Page
