AFTER LAST NIGHT'S rain, the drain by the garage, blocked by leaves has become a tiny pool. A Frog has settled down in it, as if it was its personal Jacuzzi. Just in case, I check that it isn't injured, but, no, it seems to be there by choice.
At night, when I go to put the car away, I see that it's still there; this time sitting on the grate. Judging by the slugs we see on the drive it should find plenty to eat around here.
