rainbow thrift on Skokholm TWO WEEKS AGO I sketched Thrift growing from a rock ledge on the cliffs of Skokholm Island, today I notice it growing between the cobbles fo a central reservation on Westgate, Wakefield. It has seeded itself from a nearby flowerbed.

We haven't had so much rain for a while. A rainbow intensifies in colour in the evening sky.
