The bird bath in the summer
|
The
frost has eased and the bird bath has thawed out, attracting the
sparrows back again to go through their ebullient
bathing routines. It's as well that we now have a bird bath (a Christmas
present from a friend last year) because the garden pond is thickly
frozen and, even when it isn't, it is now so overgrown with emergent
water plants that it's difficult for the birds to find enough space
around the edges to bathe.
