I don't draw as many figures as
I'd like to so I took my sketchbook to Emma and Wayne's wedding.
I might have drawn more figures if I hadn't spent so much time chatting,
eating and drinking. The lakeside setting was a distraction too
and I kept breaking off drawing guests to draw the view.
In recent years my visits to Walton Park have been in the autumn
or winter and I'd forgotten how at this time of year the parkland
can still look like a Gainsborough or a Constable landscape.
